Med2Lab, Inc. is an international healthcare technology company based in San Francisco, CA building simulation-based, adaptive medical training platforms powered by AI. The product is designed to personalize clinical education for healthcare learners and professionals — adapting instruction to individual knowledge gaps, decision-making patterns, and performance data. Initially, I joined as an intern: I researched fundraising platforms, performed literature reviews, and managed the company's social media. Through my research, I soon began showcasing the commercial opportunities for Med2Lab outside of academia. From applications in outpatient clinics for upholding medical standards, to training phlebotomists for accurate data collection, to preparing doctors for reviewing risk adjustment factors, I dedicated my time to finding new ways to market our product.
The business development work covered the full commercialization stack. I developed materials for angel investor outreach, grant opportunities, and equity crowdfunding through StartEngine — including LEAN Canvas business models, market research, and value proposition refinement. I supported internal financial planning and accounting workflows using QuickBooks, and worked on capability communications for clinicians, educators, and investors. Alongside that, I helped analyze product performance data gathered from partnerships with Stanford, Johns Hopkins, and the National University of Singapore, including a study of cognitive benefits from adaptive simulation-based training at NUS.
On the product and content side, I helped develop case-based COVID-19 clinical training modules in collaboration with the Weitzman Institute — designed to support healthcare decision-making practice at scale during a period when remote clinical education was critical. I contributed to the implementation of Med2Lab's AI Instructor, an adaptive tool providing learners with performance-based feedback, and worked with healthcare contractors on an adaptive AI assistant for medical coding. I also represented Med2Lab's research and technology at international medical conferences across Singapore, Malaysia, the UAE, Chicago, and Orlando — communicating technical and healthcare concepts to clinical, educational, and investor audiences across different markets.

Business Development & Fundraising
Led commercialization strategy for Med2Lab's adaptive training platform. Developed investor materials for angel outreach, grant opportunities, and equity crowdfunding through StartEngine. Built LEAN Canvas business models and market research frameworks, refined the company's value proposition for healthcare and education audiences, and supported financial planning using QuickBooks. Worked across the full arc from internal planning to external investor communication.

AI Product & Adaptive Learning
Contributed to the implementation of Med2Lab's AI Instructor — an intelligent instructional tool that provides learners with adaptive feedback based on their performance, knowledge gaps, and decision-making patterns. Also worked with healthcare contractors on an adaptive AI assistant for medical coding, supporting coding accuracy and workflow efficiency. Both tools represented the broader goal of making medical training and documentation more intelligent, personalized, and scalable.

Research Validation & Content Development
Supported product validation using data and feedback from academic partners including Stanford, Johns Hopkins, and the National University of Singapore. Analyzed NUS data on cognitive benefits of adaptive simulation-based training to evaluate how the platform improved retention and clinical reasoning. Also helped develop case-based COVID-19 clinical training modules in collaboration with the Weitzman Institute — building realistic clinical decision-making scenarios for remote learner use.

Presented Med2Lab's research and technology at international medical and healthcare conferences across Singapore, Malaysia, the UAE, Chicago, and Orlando. Communicated technical and clinical concepts to diverse audiences including clinicians, educators, investors, and healthcare technology stakeholders — developing the ability to adapt a complex technical product story across different cultural and professional contexts.
