Roots & Reasons
My commitment to giving back didn't begin with a mission statement. It began with two people who crossed an ocean with almost nothing and built a life out of patience, work, and a refusal to waste a single chance. Everything I do today is an attempt to pass that forward.
A Tale of Two Families
In 1971, Bangladesh was born through the sacrifices of those who came before me. The Liberation War remade the country from the inside, and Dhaka, its center and its witness, held the weight of that rupture long after the fighting stopped. My parents grew up in that city, shaped by what it had survived and what it had lost. They were not untouched by it. But they were not stopped by it either. There is a kind of resolve that only forms in places like that, in people who understand the cost of simply being there and choose, despite everything, to build.
Lessons in Resilience
My father landed in Minnesota in the winter of 1994 with just enough money to get by. He had never seen snow before. St. Cloud that December was a different world entirely, cold in a way a tropical land never prepares you for, and he was there alone. He stayed. He built through years he rarely talks about. In 2004, my mother crossed the same ocean and joined him, and together they began what they had each been quietly moving toward: not just a new country, but a family.

Why I Give Back
The values my parents lived became the causes I have chosen. There is a particular kind of loss that comes not from disaster but from knowledge that never arrives at the right moment. I have seen what that absence costs. So I have spent years building financial literacy programs for students who would otherwise never encounter them. And returning to Bangladesh, where the gaps in healthcare are not statistics but faces, pushed me toward global health: working to bring quality medical care to the communities that need it most. We were not raised to accumulate. We were raised to be the bridge between what we have and what others need.
Just as my parents took control of their destiny — moving across continents to chase a dream — I want to spend mine making sure the door they pried open stays open for those who come after me.
The Foundation Behind It

In 2013, my father founded RELI Group Inc. with a straightforward mission: support the health, safety, and security of the American public through the work of federal agencies. What started as my father's initiative has grown into a team of over 600 employees across the U.S., working with dozens of agencies and five consecutive years on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies. From digital transformation to national security, RELI has become a trusted partner to the agencies that serve this country. It is what happens when immigrants show up and refuse to be small.

That success didn't stay inside a boardroom. My parents established the Elias & Sultana Foundation — a private family foundation built on the belief that every person deserves meaningful access to food, shelter, and education. The foundation funds scholarships for students facing financial hardship, hot meals and supplies for those experiencing homelessness, and housing resources for women and children fleeing abuse. It is the natural extension of a life built on the conviction that a door opened for one should never close behind them.

Peabody Health Philanthropies
Data-driven healthcare improvement across Bangladesh, Vietnam, and Malawi. I analyze clinical data alongside clinicians, hospital administrators, and policymakers to find inefficiencies and raise quality-of-care standards — including evaluating the AI-powered EQIS platform for low- and middle-income countries.
Med2Lab Inc.
An AI-driven medical training platform that adapts to each learner and works to standardize the knowledge base of healthcare professionals worldwide. As business development lead, I expand its reach from academia into outpatient clinics and clinical training.
Elias & Sultana Foundation
My parents' foundation, providing food, education, and shelter to under-resourced communities in Bangladesh. As project coordinator I helped establish our bylaws and public mission, and led holiday drives delivering gifts, food, and clothing to students in Frisco, Texas.
Leaders of Economics & Finance in America
A student finance organization I co-founded that grew into a multi-chapter network — placing nationally in the National Economics Challenge and Wharton Personal Finance Competition, and running a speaker series bringing executives and analysts to the next generation of students.
Centennial Robotics Inc.
A nonprofit I founded and lead, now 40+ high-school students strong, designing robotics outreach for younger students. Ranked among the top in the mid-Atlantic — but mentoring the next generation matters to me as much as winning.
HAEFA
Health and Education For All is a nonprofit delivering free healthcare to underserved communities in Bangladesh — serving Rohingya refugees, garment factory workers, and rural populations through on-site clinics, emergency response, and preventative care programs. I support HAEFA's chapter at the University of Maryland, contributing to fundraising strategy and organizational governance to help grow the chapter's reach and connect UMD students to the organization's mission.
